When connecting a cable the red power LED-indicator does not light up, the program runs in Demo-mode. | No connection via USB. There is a chance of failure of the link cable or the USB-port on your mobile device. |
No connection with the programmer (the program runs in Demo-mode, yellow LED-indicator frequently flashing). | The USB driver of the mobile devices had not enough time to establish a connection with the attached programmer. Unplug the programmer (remove OTG-cable connector from your mobile device!). Wait at least 10 seconds and then reconnect the programming device to the mobile device. Generally, 10 seconds is sufficient for the completion of the USB-controller system reset to a state of readiness for the new connection. |
There are error messages that arised during the programming or verifying process, whereas the chip being processed is obviously serviceable. |
[ Note: Modern mobile devices are equipped with a full-featured USB-Host controller which usually able to provide any of the required power for the TL866 programmer needs (this affects only the battery discharge time). Therefore, it makes sense to more carefully double-check the serviceability of IC that you are using this time, as well as the reliability of all external electrical circuits and wires involved in the programming system. ] |
The programming cycle starts with the device ID test error, whereas the chip being processed is obviously serviceable. | Turn off the Check ID option (see Programming options in the Quick Start section). |
There are problems of a various nature during the device operation. |

When you try to start an operation with an IC, a window appears with a warning about the end of the authorized using period for the application. Upon it closed, the operation is canceled and the regular work with the application is impossible to continue. | Obviously, the current authorized work session of your "WizardProg Expert" application copy (purchased on Google Play) has come to an end. Usually, a regular request for a new session of the application authorized using is made automatically, but a prerequisite for fulfilling a request is having access to the Internet on the user mobile device. Most likely at the time of the start of the next automatic authorization request, Internet access on your mobile device was absent. You must connect to the Internet and reconnect the programmer to your mobile device. After that, the authorization request should be successful and work with programmable devices will continue as usual. (Details see at the section Operating authorization of the "WizardProg Expert" application). |
